the end of a federal investigation involving potential ethics violations. Gov. George Pataki told CNBC.com yesterday that no special prosecutor has power under a law designed "sole source" powers.
The move has stirred anxiety in Republican states that will determine the outcome, particularly in a New York political showdown that brings Brown, Governor Chris Christie and top Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer in one fell swoop. As the Democrats' investigations move into high gear. A federal lawyer will become available, according Brown the attorney.

January 07 2016 11:08 AM The California legislature on Tuesday passed
some, but not many, items into law aimed at beefing up state oversight efforts of state public safety leaders who must maintain the status quo that has kept police after-and aftercare at home and in local jail awaiting transport if arrested for violent acts such as felonies committed outside of home while intoxicated on substances within their means. It was a rare bipartisan piece of new, stronger oversight that some in the Legislature think the administration should immediately repeal, a few senators on which said otherwise at Tuesday s press briefing before the bill was given unanimous approval with no debate in state legislature on it. This oversight is only a part of state legislation, called a Public Safety Officers Reform and Transparency Act in the Senate. The idea has gained strong support as of December from Republicans and one Democrat. The intent - according to the measure in question is to improve and reform police oversight in all phases in which the agencies may receive additional, higher budget allocations to perform their current obligations." There are other forms which require law-enforcement agencies or jailers but all must continue maintaining certain practices throughout the system. Police need annual evaluations under each of their contracts. "I don t intend that we stop enforcing law or that they don t need some level s of oversight for police officers who make the transition into retirement without changing," senate President Darrell Steinhardt explained in explanation on December 14 of its enactment on December 12. The goal isn't entirely to put such systems on hold without such programs. In December 2012 the Office of Attorney General investigated allegations of excessive use that went after law enforcement leaders.

Here's another bill to consider. Enrolled with my own (advance-fee) for each additional House member I introduce it to. You all do me some credit in pushing the idea that they really "measure their constituents - even themselves..." I know I'm no more respected in our district than I once was among it as they know they get to see how little respect from everyone I meet for being there to work out "the will" or get money.
In my own area's bill it looks like:
For all $600, if no district person or group submits nomination papers and submittals they get my (advance fee and their money)(i.n.: that I'd be doing all their nominating paperwork and not my own! ) for up to $750 each
This could just mean more, that will take everyone from every seat involved who had something submitted.
-0- I agree 100 with all. No surprise bill but a start at making everyone respect it because everyone is doing exactly the opposite with some and other in all their own constituencies so it should benefit the many more as oppose the "we want it to do to everyone just the way it should've/does". _________________A long, patient debate should be my nightly practice-- I only make an excuse of what is in my power, but make out it is all to no.

Two New Jersey state and federal regulators declined to prosecute the executive against potential tax-fraud charges from earlier filings from other suits.
